Public Education – Giving Pigeons a Voice
We raise awareness about why pigeons live on our streets, the challenges they face, and why they deserve protection, compassion, and care. Through street outreach and public speaking at events, we inspire people to see pigeons differently — to love them, value them, and even learn how to care for them.

Ban Pigeon racing
We work with other pigeon advocates to spread the message regarding the cruelty of Pigeon Racing and work towards a full UK ban of the bloodsport within 20 years

Building a National Network of Pigeon Carers
One of our long-term goals is to create a nationwide network of people who care for pigeons across the UK. At the moment, limited time, funding, and volunteer capacity mean we can’t fully deliver this yet — but we are working hard to make it a reality in the coming years. See more about this HERE

the NPAA Will Support and Manage Pigeons in UK Towns
The National Pigeon Advocacy Association (NPAA) is developing a humane, effective and community-focused approach to caring for pigeons in towns across the UK. Instead of relying on outdated and ineffective “pest control” methods, we will work directly with local councils to create sustainable solutions that benefit both pigeons and the communities they live in.

With thanks to our sponsor
We are very grateful to be sponsored by Sup and Bloom, who generously cover the costs of our office space and vehicle maintenance.
Their support makes a real and practical difference to our ability to keep the NPAA running and to continue our advocacy work for pigeons.
Please do take a moment to check out their products using the link below, and join us in supporting a business that supports this work.
OUR AIMS:
1-Year Plan:
Host the world’s first veterinary- and education-led vegan Pigeon Advocacy Conference in the UK.
(Achieved in just 9 months—our first conference took place on 20th September 2025 in Staffordshire, England.)
2-Year Plan:
Establish a board of directors and gain charitable accreditation for the NPAA.
5-Year Plan:
Launch Gracie’s Boxes in veterinary practices and animal sanctuaries across the UK.
Each box will include essential supplies to stabilise and care for an injured pigeon during the first week of rehabilitation.
It will also provide a direct helpline to a trained pigeon rehabilitator and a practical care guide.
6-Year Plan:
Build relationships with local councils to become a recognised government-level consultation body—encouraging councils to work with our network instead of relying on “pest control.”
Partner with companies such as Network Rail to deliver humane, cost-effective solutions for securing bridges and buildings. Our approach prioritises public health and safety while ensuring the kind and ethical relocation of pigeons.
